The company was founded by filmmaker Stanley Preston in 1989 as Preston Productions Inc. It began with a 16mm film camera, an SBA small business loan and a handful of loyal clients. Today, we are Maryland Motion Pictures, one of the Mid-Atlantic's most experienced full service video and film production companies. We use the latest cameras, tools and techniques to tell your story. From two person crews, to a cast and crew of hundreds, we have the experience to appropriately scale each production and deliver results under pressure.We are a small company that understands the big picture. Our business philosophy has always been to keep overhead low and offer competitive pricing. Our production studio is small and efficient. We do not employ a large full-time staff, instead we rely on our vast network of talented and experienced freelance production professionals.
