Masahit Alhayy is a placemaking initiative, that aims at creating and activating public spaces with local communities. We adopt a co-creation strategy which encompasses a co-design and co-build process that engages the community in all phases of the project. It is an initiative from the people to the people. Our goal is to create a positive impact in the community through creating safe, inclusive, engaging, and self-sustaining community spaces.Our four main programs: 1- Social Responsibility Program. 2- Recreation Program.3- Vocation and Education Program. 4- Income Generation Program. Our five main core values: 1- Adopting a circular economy model. 2- Localizing resources and capacities. 3- Employing a comprehensive socio-spatial approach. 4- Emphasizing on participation and collaboration. 5- Initiating a self-generated community management system.
