Mascotte Industrial Associates (Hong Kong) Limited (MIA) is the manufacturing arm of Mascotte Holdings Limited, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Since its inception in 1973 MIA has obtained many industry awards and recognition for manufacturing computer, photographic, video, phone and multi-media bags and accessories. Since 2015 Mascotte Holdings is a member of the Tencent Group (www.tencent.com). MIA has several manufacturing facilities in China, which are managed under the ISO-9000 and ISO-14000 Certification from Bureau Veritas & SGS. MIA's 1,800 workers manufacture over 1,000 different products at any point in time, many of them are developed in house at MIA, one of the major innovators in the industry. MIA's strength lies in OEM and ODM equipment bags for global hardware manufacturers, global bag brands, as well as major re- and e-tailers. MIA has been integrating solar panels into bags for many years, having registered the world's first solar and wireless charging bag patent in 2003. The company uses its innovative techniques to integrate durable and efficient solar panels in bags to charge electronic devices. MIA embraces high-tech ventures incorporating its skills in complex textile & electronic production and integration. Major achievements to date include cooperation and partnerships for solar, flexible controllers, textile keyboards and acoustic bags.
