The Mascoutah Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the residents in and around Mascoutah, IL. We cover approximately 150 square miles that include both the City of Mascoutah and the Mascoutah Rural Fire Protection District. Included in the district is Mid-America Airport where the Mascoutah Fire Department serves as primary response for all non-aircraft incidents.The Mascoutah Fire Department operates one fire station, built in 1976 and located near downtown. From this fire station the department operates five pieces of apparatus including three Rescue Pumpers, one Squad/Rescue Truck, and one Brush Truck. We have several mutual aid agreements in place that can bring in additional apparatus as needed including ladder trucks and tankers. These agreements also allow the department to provide assistance to surrounding communities.
