For more than 50 years the Master family of companies has been helping business and municipalities reach their recycling and diversion goals. From the beginning, recycling has always been a part of Master's core business culminating into building our own recycling center and processing plant in the early 80s. Master built one of the first Material Recovery Facility (MRF), in coalition with the State of California's Department of Conservation, creating a bar & restaurant recycling pick up program throughout the State. That MRF grew into one of the first high-rise office paper sorting and recycling lines in California paving the way for how businesses recycle and how waste is removed from its origin. Master has virtually performed every recycling and waste removal program that has been invented, from developing our own equipment manufacturing company to forming our own consulting company. Master has aligned itself with businesses, municipalities and individuals whose desires are to reach maximum landfill diversion with highest economical outlook. Master was "going green" before the term was ever coined.
