Mastiha World Ltd is a startup of young Greek expats and graduate students, which was set up in August 2014 to import two very special mastiha liqueurs to the UK: Kentos and Enosis. Both liqueurs are the premium authentic spirits of the Chios Mastiha Growers' Association (or 'Union', the leading producer and seller of mastiha worldwide) and are handcrafted and bottled on the island of Chios in Greece. Mastiha liqueur is made using the aromatic resin of the mastiha tree, which only grows in the southern part of Chios. A combination of the resin crystal distillate, locally sourced agricultural alcohol and finest crystal sugar give our liqueurs their extraordinarily unique and delicious taste. Kentos (meaning 'embroidery' and at 20% abv) takes its name from the mastiha harvesting process, and is an exceptional natural digestif. Enosis (meaning 'Union', at 30% abv) is a superfine exclusive spirit, that offers endless opportunities for cocktail recipes. Together, these spirits represent only the best that mastiha liqueur has to offer: an unparalleled natural, rich and original experience. Mastiha World has entered into an exclusive partnership with the Growers' Association to bring the authentic mastiha liqueurs to a UK audience, and is the only UK incorporated and VAT-registered company that specialises in mastiha.
