Matajuegos is a collective of Latin American independent game developers dedicated to publishing Spanish-language game criticism that focuses on the analysis and exploration of videogames as art, culture, politics, and self-expression. We work to boost Latin American voices and generate a genuinely Latin American discourse around videogames and our unique cultural perspective of the medium. We also speak at conferences and events, be they academic, tech-industry, or game related, and translate English-language game criticism into Spanish for the easy access of the Spanish-language videogame community.
