We are using machine learning to discover alternatives to plastic, better ways of energy storage, and eco-friendly versions of materials that are used on a daily basis.At material.ai we believe that the world's dependency on materials, such as plastic, creates a suboptimal economic environment and potentially endangers the wellbeing of large population groups when the supply is disrupted, either naturally or artificially. Our company aims to discover more alternatives to the materials we depend on and introduce optionality to supply chains.We are a group of artificial intelligence researchers and data scientists, supported by government programmes and leading universities. Our company is being built in collaboration with the world's leading research and development (R&D) labs and aims to solve one of humanity's greatest challenges through machine learning: accelerated materials discovery.
