Leading innovation is what drives business today. Jim Deetjen, co-owner of Premium Concrete and in charge of field construction for 30 years was faced with a significant problem. Competition for work was challenging and margins were getting squeezed. His company's ability to deliver contracted work on time, under budget and safely was becoming more difficult each year. Jim and his mechanic (Gordon Uhl) researched their current buggy fleet discovering a significant opportunity for improvement. The two spent endless hours in the shop developing the first CreteRod prototype. The goal was to build a reliable, safe and cost effective machine which would reduce the time and labor on jobs. By 2009, the developers had multiple prototypes testing in the field. Due to the jaw-dropping impact on their bottom-line, Jim realized that The CreteRod can change the construction industry. Over the past five years, The CreteRod has gone through rigorous testing and quality assurance to give you the newest model in use today. Specific issues with competitors' models were identified and addressed with the new design. Issues like load capacity, safety, speed, turning radius, and terrain requirements were all considered when developing the new machine. After 7 years of designing, building, and refining the Creterod was created. The result was a powerful machine which delivered on all the issues Jim focused on. With a hydro-static all wheel twin-lock drive system, 180 degree rear-wheel turning radius, and a monster 33 cubic foot payload the CreteRod is one mean machine you must have in your fleet!
