Maven is a young Dutch publishing house that specializes in narrative non-fiction in the area of human behavior. Every year we select the most fascinating insights and topics in this scientific field, and we have made it our mission to spread the newly gained knowledge. Our motto: Dit zouden meer mensen moeten weten ('More people should know this'). We publish around 12 books (also available as e-books) a year, which allows for a strong focus on marketing. Some of our recent titles are 'De Big Data-revolutie' (original title: 'Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work and Think') by Viktor Mayer-Schönberger and Kenneth Cukier, 'In Einsteins achtertuin' (original title: 'Trespassing Einsteins Lawn') by Amanda Gefter and 'Hap slik weg' (original title: 'Gulp') by Mary Roach. Some of our recent Dutch titles are 'Je bent wat je doet' by Roos Vonk, 'Allemaal beestjes' by Jop de Vrieze, 'De beleggingsillusie' by Jolmer Schukken and Marius Kerdel and the 'Nederland in ideeën' series.
