Maxiloda grew out of a customer problem: How can we move more goods without having to put more trucks on the road, become more efficient and reduce waste? Maxiloda develop innovative transport solutions that enable our customers to carry more, with less.Maxiloda specialises in the manufacture and sale of innovative stacking and space optimisation systems for the transport industry. Maxiloda products are designed and built in New Zealand and in use in trucks to maximise the space, in multiple countries internationally.Tread lightly, carry more. Sustainability is a core value of Maxiloda. At our heart are two things - our desire to leave the planet better than we found it, and a desire to leave a legacy for our families and communities we serve - and the two are inextricably linked.Everybody has a role to play in leaving our planet in a better state than it is today. We believe this means making many small changes which add up to a big impact. Our Maxiloda Thrive Programme is run in partnership with our clients, where we give back a percentage of our revenue to local community and environmental initiatives in the neighbourhoods, towns and cities our clients call home. We're proud of the products we've developed, obsessively passionate about every design, every component but more importantly; we're proud of the impact our products are having on our customers businesses and ultimately on the planet. Maxiloda was founded in 2012 by engineer Dave Clapson, when a customer walked through the doors of Dave's other business, with a particular challenge of how he could maximise efficiency of every truck load. Dave took on the challenge, and the Glide prototype was born.Seeing this as a business opportunity in its own right, Dave partnered with fellow engineers Hans Kruiswijk and Gary Stannard to set up Maxiloda. Right from the start, Maxiloda had a clear set of values on which all decisions are made to build a sustainable and enduring business.
