Occupational Health and Safety Managerial job description• Initiated and designed the Company's Health and Safety Policy• Designed and compiled the Company's Health and Safety Manual • Ensure all new workers receive proper training – ie: WHMIS, Forklift, Lockdown Procedures, Drills, Lifts and Booms, Fall Protection etc.• Organize in-house training for all employees and sub contractors – ie: Housekeeping, small tools and equipment use, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Drill etc. • Ensure that all Management and Employees understand the concept of Due Diligence and how it fits into the workplace• Update the Supervisor and Company Safety Reps on any new procedures and follow up on a consistent basis regarding site matters and proper conduct and safety measures• Ensure Management are familiarized with the Occupational Health and Safety requirements as it pertains to the construction industry• Keep organized records of all data and ensure required documentation from the Supervisor is complied and received by me in a timely manner – ie: Site Specific Safety Plan and Job Safety Analysis Worksheet• Collect all necessary paperwork from sub trades upon the commencement of a new project – ie: clearance certificates, proof of insurance etc and vice versa • Ensure all payments and documentation is received in a timely manner to the WSIB along with any paperwork that may be required by the MOL Office Manager job description• Oversee all office staff• Compile the Contracts and Quotations for new projects, as requested by the President• Check month end and yearend figures before submitting to accountant • Follow up with receivables• Hire any required office staff
