A strong background in architecture with experience on complex buildings however is.McAuley Consulting provides building code consulting services in British Columbia, specializing in Certified Professional services in the City of Vancouver. We are specialist consultants focused on interpreting the building code for our clients and guiding them through the process of obtaining building and occupancy permits.Our approach is based first on principles. We take the time to understand the intent and objectives of the building code within the context of each project and then, working with design teams, we draw on our experience and expertise to balance the need for innovation with Fire, Life Safety and Accessibility aspects of the building code and reference standards. Our projects range from small Tenant Improvements, where our involvement will help to expedite the building permit application, to multi-tower developments where a fundamental understanding of the building code requirements, city processes and role of the building code consultant will support the consultant's team.
