McDaids stands on its own as one of Dublin's most colorful pubs, both literally and figuratively, having once been a favored meeting place for cutting-edge Irish writers. Dating back to just three years after the United States became a country; McDaids is one of Dublin's oldest pubs. The owners Eamonn Cullen and John Heverin, both from Ireland, are committed to bringing an authentic Irish adventure to McDaids Irish Pub also known as McDaids of Hillsborough Street. The authentic experience of a real Irish Pub can be felt the moment you walk into McDaids. The furniture was all Irish made and imported, with Irish craftmenship -the signage, tiles, mirrors etc. Using skills and methods that have been in use for hundreds of years and specializing in creating great establishments that will look better in 50 years than it does today.
