We have been family owned and operated in the heart of Morristown since 1967. In that time we have perfected the art of making customers smile and getting them back on the road in the shortest time possible. We are a direct repair shop for most major insurance companies which allows us to start ordering parts and repairing your vehicle promptly. We also guarantee our workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle. All of our technicians are extremely knowledgeable having extensive training and experience in the collision repair industry. In addition to being ASE Certified, our shop has been rated Gold Class by I-CAR longer than any other shop in New Jersey and we maintain annual training courses. McDonald Auto Body is one of only a few shops in New Jersey to have been awarded a prestigious VeriFacts Medallion. While vehicles keep getting more complex, technology and diagnostic tools are constantly changing as well. Only the top rated equipment and techniques are used in our shop which includes: Prospot I4 Resistant Spot Welder, Miller MIG/TIG Welder, Bumper Smith Nitrogen Plastic Welding System, Shark Sonar Measuring Equipment, Aurora Sonar Measuring Software, Kansas Jack Frame Machine and Summit Repair Management System. We also use a down draft spray booth/oven, infrared heat lamps and PPG Envi-robase Waterborne paint system which are very environmentally friendly. The paint is mixed on site and matched per vehicle from a computerized color library which is updated daily. McDonald Auto Body keeps photo documentation from start to finish on each completed repair.
