As the only winery in historic Boone County, McEachran Homestead is proud to offer our own line of grape and fruit wines. Our wines are hand-crafted in small batches with professionalism and great detail to create a refreshing taste that reflects the country and northern Illinois wine. We grow our own grapes on our 2-acre vineyard, while our fruit wines are made from some of our own fruit as well as fruit grown locally.Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary wine tasting while learning about the different types of wine varietals and how viticulture and production aspects influence the flavor of McEachran Homestead's wines. Guided tours offer insight into the pruning, tending, and nurturing of the vineyards and surrounding gardens.Whether one is planning a low-key birthday party, an upscale bridal shower, a church retreat, or an outdoor wedding, McEachran Homestead also offers plenty of options for events. We are available to host parties as small as 8 (and as large as 75) in the restored hay loft, while our beautifully manicured grounds provide a picturesque backdrop to outdoor events for 150+ guests.
