McGhee's Newsagency, located in near Perth suburb of East Victoria Park is a third-generation family business which was opened in 1953. The business was one of the last remaining community shops on Albany Highway strip which has now become a vibrant restaurant and entertainment precinct. McGhee's had a reputation for friendly old fashioned service and a place that sold all sorts of rare and unusual stationery items and art supplies.The owner and shopkeeper of 40 years, Rod McGhee is now enjoying a well earned retirement while his family and friends work to wind down the business and vacate the premises which has now been sold.
