The McGill Society of Petroleum Engineers is a Student Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, which is a international organization that offers a platform for technical innovation, knowledge sharing, and networking for Engineers in the Energy Sector.The primary goal of this student initiative is education. It is our hope that we can supplement your education by offering Technical Sessions, Introduction to Petroleum Technology Sessions, Guest Speakers, Lunch and Learns, and Q&As from McGill students that have done work terms. The MSPE will also act as a conduit connecting Engineers at McGill with Industry to promote industry experience and establish a continuing relationship to offer opportunities to students for work terms and new graduate placements. The MSPE is always looking for new partnerships with organizations in industry to nurture the development of the McGill Engineering Student population.
