McGill Students for UNICEF is a campus club at McGill that works in collaboration with UNICEF Canada. As a club, we are grounded in the belief that young minds like ours can create simple yet effective solutions to help address issues related to the plight of children all across the world.We support UNICEF Canada to provide programs and advocacy work for children all over the world by raising funds and holding events that garner involvement and contributions from the McGill and Montreal community.During emergencies, reaching vulnerable children is often the most challenging and difficult task. Most children do not survive due to insufficiency or absence of aid – not as a direct result of the tragedy. While UNICEF is on the ground in areas affected by disaster, saving and safeguarding children and their families, and helping them re-establish their lives; McGill Students for UNICEF dedicates itself to raising money for the emergency funds.
