The aim of McGill's Undergraduate Journal of Feminist Studies (MJFS) is to fill a void at McGill University and create a platform for academic work pertaining to gender and feminism to be published. Rather than having gender and feminism as a mere subcategory of other publications, we intend to create a centralized platform that publishes work on gender and feminism. MJFS aims to bring to the forefront, the interdisciplinary nature of the field by encouraging students from all faculties and programs to submit their academic writing. This journal creates a platform for authors to reach a wider audience and encourages students, interested in submitting, to adopt a feminist approach or gendered lens with their course papers.
