It was formerly based in Olympia, Washington and Brooklyn, New York before relocating to Maine in the spring of 2009. The label maintains a permanent roster of bands for which it acts as a traditional record label and marketing firm. It also performs for hire marketing work for musicians at large. MKST Music is a full service, one stop music firm that does everything from market research, branding and graphic design, to booking, special events, and wholesale distribution of retail ready digital media, CDs, and vinyl.
