MCM Associates specialise in the negotiation, drafting, agreement and management of contracts and commercial agreements. Started by Michael Chad-Smith in 2000, we have nearly 20 years experience in assisting organisations (both public and private sector) realise their full potential by ensuring that all contracts/commercial agreements that that they enter into are written and then managed so as to achieve client and contractual objectives. We specialise in drafting and then managing contracts that, whilst commercial for both client and supplier, nonetheless hold suppliers to account and ensure performance in accordance with the agreement terms. We also specialise in the resolution of contractual disputes between parties with the primary objective of reaching resolutions acceptable to both client and supplier, preserving a positive relationship between the parties wherever possible - we appeciate that terminating a contract is the very last thing that most parties wish to do. We also provide ancillry advice to clients especially in the areas of procurement and the GDPR ensuring compliance in contracts with these and other common law, statutory and regulatory requirements and guidance.
