Cabinet refacing gives your kitchen a whole new look by replacing all the doors and drawer fronts with new ones and covering your face frames and visible cabinet ends with 1/4 inch color matched panels. What to Expect – Cabinet Refacing in 6 steps Once you have chosen your door style, color and finish we will place an order for your refacing materials. Your doors and drawers are custom made by the experts at Cabinet Cures in Portland Oregon. Your design consultant will support you throughout the entire process, from original consultation to final walk-through. 1. At the start of your project we begin by protecting the floors and furniture in the work area. At the end of each day we fully clean the job site and you can continue to use your kitchen throughout the project. 2. Next we remove all your old doors, drawer fronts, crown molding and other trims and recycle them (they get turned into mulch). 3. Then we make any modifications to your cabinets that you have requested whether that be converting a door cabinet to a drawer cabinet or adding cabinets to your kitchen. 4. After that we install 1/4 panels to any cabinets sides or face frames that are visible. The panels are color matched to the door and drawer finish you chose. 5. Then we install you new doors using BLUM soft close clip top hinges. If you have chosen to replace your drawer boxes as well as you slides we will also install BLUM full extension, soft close slides. 6. Finally we touch up the cabinets, adjust the hinges and slides, install pulls and other hardware and clean the job site thoroughly.
