The Mac Friends of MSF club works to raise awareness for the issues tackled by MSF/Doctors Without Borders, an international organization with a branch in Canada. We operate independent of MSF Canada's day-to-day operations.Founded in 1971 by a group of French doctors, MSF/Doctors Without Borders is an international organization that strives to provide health care and emergency aid to those who need it, no matter where they are in the world.MSF works independent of any government agencies in over 70 countries worldwide, and provides equal aid to everyone regardless of race, gender, religion, or political affiliation.McMaster Friends of MSF supports MSF Canada through various fundraisers and awareness events throughout the year, including Rock Without Borders, our annual Speaker Series, and more!
