McMaster Men's Health focuses on spreading the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and dealing with common stigmatized issues to men.Our goals?Spread AwarenessAs a club, we want to bring forward many stigmatized topics with regards to what it means to be a man, as well as how men should cope with their problems, in order to create conversation. Through this we hope to raise awareness to many things that many men themselves might not be aware off and give them something to reflect upon.CharityTogether, we will hold charity events in order to support foundations and programs that push forward the education of a healthy lifestyle to children, as well as support those that aid in health related problems such as prostate cancer & substance abuse which are abundant in men all around the world. We will reach out to our surrounding community to spread this important message to as many people as possible as we believe that change can happen 1 person at a time.Make a changeAs mentioned before, we believe change can happen 1 person at a time. We hope to create something that will remain for many generations to come in order to continue to educate the following generations. We hope to achieve the normalization of accepting your problems weather physical, emotional or mental within the men community. We hope to remove the stigma surrounding many health problem with men and make them as normal as any other, in order to create a stronger support system that empowers individuals to not be afraid to take action and begin their journey of coping.
