McNair Software was founded over 18 years ago by Doug McNair to provide practical, innovative, high performance and cost effective software design solutions to manufacturers of automation, motion control, healthcare devices and computer-based instrumentation. We have enjoyed the privilege and challenge of working with Bayer Diagnostics, Respironics Inc., Medrad, Inc., Satec Systems Inc, and others in these dynamic fields. We pursue .net, C#, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Assembly language and database programming and other tools to design embedded and PC-based application software. We believe in building relationships with our clients based on mutual respect and fostering independence. While many companies, both hardware and software, can offer a quick solution to a short-term problem, McNair Software believes in working with our clients to determine the long-term objectives, to integrate short-term benefits into the overall solution and to plan for the life of the product. We follow a proven, planned and documented method for development. We enforce a methodical approach to analyzing and assessing the problems and issues. Before code is written, we discuss and understand the issues with our clients, write specifications that define project goals, write plans to know when we've met the goals, and develop a design that ensures that the goals are met.
