Bill Brinton (the inventor of moisture-cure polyurethane technology) currently sits on MCU's BOD and was instrumental in the development of MCU's next-generation, thin-film, industrial coating system for harsh environments (C5VH). In 2019, MCU submitted our newest coating system for testing by world renowned IFO/COT Labs-Holland (Saudi Aramco's preferred lab), where it was applied in only 2-coats, 225 microns total DFT, on RUSTED steel plates that were surface prepared via rotary power tooling (St3). The result? IFO/COT awarded MCU a 25-year durability rating! Unheard of in the industry, which subsequently led Shell Oil to globally approve MCU and specify MCU use on all Shell's offshore platforms in SE Asia.
