Two Million in Two Years.I went with this tagline because I thought it was catchy. My other options were, The Hard Road To Success, The Convenience Curse, How To Ruin Your Life In 5 Easy Steps, and How to Do Dental Differently. The last option is actually the motto for my offices and could be extrapolated to explain my philosophy on life. I am a contrarian by nature and always looking for how I can avoid following trends and the masses. I would say that this rebellious take on Dentistry has taken myself and my team to new heights and I am eager to share, if you have any interest.I didn't always want to Do Dental Differently, but I worked as an associate at a few offices and even though they did the best they could, there just seemed to be a better way. I didn't want to work myself to death or become burnt out and jaded. I didn't want to have constant staffing issues or do large fillings all day every day. I wanted a profitable office where I could do excellent dentistry, treat awesome patients that I cared about (and got along with), have a team that supported my goals and have an exit plan with investments so I could stop working any time I wanted. Fortunately, I have all this and more and if you want the same thing, you came to the right place.I have been doing informal consulting for several years and I finally decided that we had enough resources to offer it full time (for 3-6 offices). I have worked with half a dozen consultants in as many years and they were helpful but ultimately offered a cookie cutter plan that just didn't sit well with my "buck the trend" attitude. I learned from each of them but we found our own way and even though it required a lot of sacrifices, I wouldn't change it for the world.
