Meadowlark Film Productions presents its first musical film LOVE IS... to engage viewers with a world of fantastical dimensions and superpowers which come into the earthly world where the superhero lived and died.LOGLINE: Allison, a Mom and community leader dies in a car accident, leaving a huge hole in her family and town. She's still very human as she returns to Mt. Carnival from the Afterlife with superhero abilities. She only has a short time to encourage family and friends to resolve their grief and "love" issues before she returns to the Afterlife. Space Aliens arrive to set up a base for an invasion of Planet Earth. Disguised as Real Estate Investors they try to buy the town. But, they lack humanity. So, they can't stand up to the honesty of the townspeople. Next, they try Fear, but all of Mt. Carnival stands strong in the face of annihilation of everything they love. Then Allison's leads her supernatural allies to the rescue.LOVE IS... challenges the status quo in musical film by stepping away from decades-old story traditions. Most musicals are based on books, fairytales, and Historical characters. We envision original stories in unconventional worlds with music, live action and animation.
