Mealifi is a meal-based record-keeping system for restaurants who use food delivery apps.One of the industries severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past 12+ months has been the Restaurant Industry. With the constant cycle of provincial shutdowns, lockdowns and stay-at-home orders many restaurants have chosen to sign up with food delivery services in hopes of making up for lost profit. Although these apps can be an asset to restaurants, they have become the perfect prey for meal fraud.Meal fraud occurs when customers file for full refunds for the meals they have received after falsely claiming that the order was missing items, was the wrong order or that meal never arrived. With little to no investigation these apps are giving full refunds to these individuals leaving the restaurants at a deficit.
