MeBeSafe (Measures for Behaving Safely in Traffic) is € 7 million research project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, coordinated by the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) of the RWTH Aachen University. The project aims at researching, planning, implementing and evaluating several nudging and coaching measures in different facets of road transportation. The purpose is to reduce road accidents by changing habitual traffic behaviour of drivers and cyclists. The project started on the 1st of May 2017 and will run for 42 months.
