MedaVance was founded in 2018 dedicated to advancing proven medicines through second-generation innovations addressing critical healthcare needs. Applying new injectable drug delivery systems to previously approved compounds, we unlock meaningful benefits for patients, physicians and pharmacists, addressing the challenges of adherence, compliance and safety. Novel formulation development activities currently focus on two therapeutic areas - pain management and oncology. We utilize a systematic approach to identifying new product opportunities, first validating patient/clinical impact, market access potential and development risk before tactical development planning. Expert teams, purpose-built towards each product, then work with trusted external partners to develop, manufacture and commercialize products obtaining approval through an accelerated FDA regulatory pathway such as 505(b)(2). Active management of product risks including development/manufacturing challenges, evolving regulatory requirements and changing patient treatments reinforce long-term planning. While leveraging best in class capabilities of select partners and accelerated approval pathways maximize the use of resources in support of our mission – advancing proven medicines, unlocking their potential to create better outcomes within critical healthcare needs.Organized under a flexible operating structure, MedaVance is currently seeking additional partners to engage with on new product opportunities or who can contribute to comprehensive product diligence and development activities.
