Media Match, LLC is a company dedicated to high quality, targeted, real learning experiences. Our initial focus is the educational field, particularly secondary schools. We provide three services: • identifying and evaluating existing computer games that help teachers and students through the learning process of acquiring specific skills and knowledge;• developing new computer games where appropriate games do not exist;• providing professional development to help teachers acquire the necessary computer and game skills to assist in the learning process for their students.Our initial vehicle is a database built to identify and to make readily available, professionally evaluated computer games to supplement the current curriculum. The database will allow educators to find computer games quickly by topic. The ease of this system will encourage educators to use the quality tools to help their students in the learning process. The database also provides educators with information about system requirements that are necessary to run games. We understand that not all games, including expensive games, engage students in the learning process. Our focus is the learning process and we identify those games that fulfill this expectation. We also provide Professional Development Programs to increase educators' knowledge of this exciting new field of learning and prepare them to prepare our students for the demands of the 21st century.
