The Media max journey has been to explore ways of building stronger brands through media connectedness & client integration. Call it managing the minutia or sweating the small stuff we believe in the David Ogilvy premise of "The more you know about a product, the more likely you are to come up with a big idea for selling it." Media Max was created in 1989 in order to deliver on a need that developed in the advertising & marketing environment for highly trained, skilled and accountable media strategists with strong brand knowledge and refreshing passion. All the work we do is predicated on a belief system where a great media idea is limited by a poor creative execution and informed by an incomplete brand strategy and that a great creative idea rolled out an unsuitable media environment is wasted. We treat client's brands as our own . The buck always stops with us. We live their dreams and help deliver on their aspirations. We are cautious with their budgets and we are adept at looking at providing media solutions across various media platforms.Significant projects worked on , that have made a material difference in society worked on either with clients directly, via agencies, or consultancy projects include:- the launch of the initial ANC election campaign in 1994. In the run up to the elections on the National Peace Accord. Later, on the Business Trust, an initiative between big business and the Thabo Mbheki presidency.Rewarding work included projects for the Institute for the Advancement of Journalism, the Soros Corporation & the Development Bank of SA for the roll out of community radio stations. Media Max has worked on building brands within the Pioneer Foods stable, recently sold to PepsiCo, SATRIX ETFS for all three owners: firstly, the JSE, then Deutsche Bank and more recently SANLAM. On the freelance side we have had memorable involvement with Diageo, Nestle, Samsung, Unilever, KFC, and DSTV through their media agencies the M Group and Zenith media
