Media Training Station (MTS) is a Community Interest Company - a registered UK-based non-profit organisation serving the needs of journalists worldwide, but especially in countries in crisis and transition. Our founders are former journalists and managers from the BBC and other leading news organisations. We all have a wealth of experience in journalism, broadcast, production and training. We're connected to journalist trainers and consultants worldwide, meaning we can get support to those who need it quickly and efficiently.Since we formed in 2011, we've delivered training to journalists in Iran, the Arab World, Nigeria and across east Africa. We're currently supporting a number of radio and television stations which are broadcasting into Syria. We're also working with partners in Georgia to develop programmes to link people in conflict-affected regions of Georgia.Our work is made possible by grants from the governments of the UK, US, Norway and the European Union.
