Our mission...To empower healthcare providers adopting technology to improve patient outcomes, control costs and remain HIPAA compliant.Who we are...Medical Record Services, LLC, was formed to serve as a continuation of the Regional Extension Center (REC), NEO HealthConnect, based out of Youngstown, Ohio. NEO HealthConnect was a sub-recipient of the Ohio statewide Regional Extension Center Grant under the ARRA HITECH Act in 2009. The REC Grant provided funding for education, outreach and technical assistance to help priority primary care providers successfully implement and meaningfully use certified electronic health records (EHR) technology to improve the quality and value of health care. The REC grant period came to an end, as did REC services in 2014.MRS provides a continuation of services, working with all health care providers on a fee for service basis. We currently serve hundreds of providers across multiple states. A key tenet of our mission is to disseminate knowledge to help improve the quality of healthcare delivery and health outcomes.
