Medical Technology Services was founded in January 2016 by Chase Brown. Medical Technology Services is a business that collects information from health care professionals about what would help them in there everyday life as a Medical Professional. We take their results and turn them into applications. Our newest application being "Medi-Share". About Medi-Share: Medi-Share was founded by Medical Technology Services in September of 2017, MediShare is to be a secure, HIPAA compliant, encrypted web platform, optimized for mobile, desktop, and tablet to temporarily store and share patient health data across hospitals and healthcare teams. Sample use case:John is typically a patient at NYU. On this date, however, a medical emergency occurred, and the closest treatment site was located at Mt. Sinai, outside of the NYU health system.John's treatment team at Mt. Sinai would call over to NYU to request his records so they can have an up-to-date history. Instead of faxing them or sharing by some other method, here, NYU would be able to send them via the MediShare platform. John's records are uploaded to the site and are held there for a minimum period of time (~3d), where the team at Mt. Sinai can access them.
