MedicAssistance provides support to patients en caregivers to ensure the patient adheres to his prescribed treatment with the objective of improving patient and caregiver quality of life.Through a combination of devices and a call centre MedicAssistance (MA) monitors the patient, intervenes and provides support if needed.For younger patients there is also an integration with twitter and facebook to track behaviour and adherence.The service is patient centric and allows the patient to manage and update his health care records through the MedicAssitance Patient Portal.The patient can provide access to his caregiver to assist in tracking his adherence to treatment incl lifestyle changes and also to the physician.Through the portal the physician can follow his multiple patients. All parties can define at which thresholds they need to be alerted and the level of intervention MA should perform.
