Startup Streaming | Music, Podcasts & Events | TechWe started this taking seriously when I realized that Music and events have the power to connect people. People across the world who have never met each other can share and relate to emotions, stories, and experiences that end up shaping who they became.Events are powerful in huge cities where greeting someone you don't know is somehow wrong.... but in This 1 room, 1 Empty parking lot, 1 theatre or 1 Patch of Grass, Complete strangers became One. If there's one thing that unities us and that's a love for the Music, Events, Culture, and the need to Celebrate life.We went from Hosting Illegal Parties in our Nelson Mandela University Residence to Hosting events in Pretoria on a weekly bases and we are branching out to the rest of South Africa, I went from promoting my friends' music on a dodgy wix.com site to promoting over 300 artists in South Africa 2019/20. I saw the connection between events and music when I and my girlfriend would struggle to find events that we both liked...yes they were picnics but I hated sunshine and I would get bored there. Yes, there were night clubs but my girlfriend hated the loud music & Nightlife in general but we found common ground in a Love for local RnB music from artists that were around Port Elizabeth. So I decide to post events of her favorite artists on the site and we would go to them because she loved the smooth RnB environment, the experience of the event itself, and meeting like-minded people, as for me I like the music there and the fact she was happy was a Win. So we Developed Mediinights Music and Events as a platform that aims to Revitalize culture by matching users with great music and events that tailor their entertainment needs.
