Medina is a luxury women's swimwear brand focused on impecable fit to flatterthe female form. Entirely made in Europe with regenerated nylon andthoughtfully made to last.In 2017 Lou Medina started research and development to achieve the rightproduct foundation. As a former creative pattern maker at Céline, Lou's goal isto engineer swimwear with a perfect fit. Medina's ethos is based on makinggarments that endure time, through their design, technically approachingmaterials and their properties and a high quality manufacturing. All along theprocess making choices to minimise environmental impact.Medina's headquarters and manufacturing take place in Porto, Portugal. Whichallows us to have a direct communication with our factories and lower ourcarbon footprint.Our fabrics are made in Italy using ECONYL® - an innovative nylon yarn,produced entirely from recovered fishnets and other nylon waste. It's infinitelyrecyclable avoiding the use of new resources, forming the basis for aclosed-loop cycle of regenerated nylon.Medina collaborates with non-profit organisations dedicated to theenvironmental care of oceans and seas, through a donation of our sales andgiving visibility on their restoration work.
