We are passionate young people set out to change the way we buy vegetables and groceries. We want to redesign and optimize the process of the way we produce and consume vegetables and groceries in India and in the World next. Agriculture is the backbone of India and people is India's Strength. We want to redefine the way we produce the required food for the country and also how Consumers will consume it at the best quality and price. What MeeSabzi is doing is tapping into that unorganized sector and making it Organised step by Step from the Ground up, It is the same thing that is happening since decades we are optimizing it and organizing it. So that customers gets fresh and good quality, and the farmers get good price. Delivery is a very small part of that. Because of the un-organised nature of the process every season tons and tons of Vegetables and other agricultural products are being dumped either because they are rotten in the yards as yard people didn't get good price to sell or farmers didn't get good price to sell to yard/market, they just simple dump them there. On the other hand there is scarcity in the consumer market and prices raise and there is chaos. We say Agriculture is the Backbone of Indian Economy which accounts for 27% - 30% of GDP (Agriculture and allied activities). Right now only Vegetables and Groceries is our Focus but we will also venture into all agriculture related activities organizing them and optimizing them what to go where and when minimizing losses like above. Agriculture materials for a large section of industries. Sugar, tea, cotton textiles, jute goods, vegetable oil, etc. industries are regularly fed by agricultural produces even there problem is the same it is localized and un-organised. If there is a requirement in North India and best quality raw materials are in South India to find them and get them in time is really really difficult. We use technology to solve this problem.
