Hello! My name is Mel and I love scouting for treasures, specifically vintage pieces that speak volumes. By day, I work in sales operations at a hyper growth company. Yes, it is busy. By evening and weekend, I find energy and motivation as I comb through second hand shops, estate sales and outdoor markets. With every visit, I learn more. There is no feeling quite like finding a beautiful piece that I believe can be revitalized and combined into another's collection. For years now, I've been trying to evaluate my strengths in the creative realm. I realized recently that the value I add is using my good eyes to spot beauty. Mel Scouts is the practice of finding Vintage gems and distributing these pieces to the ends of the world. The pieces I have procured at Mel Scouts have clean lines or have a strong sense of character to them. All items that are procured are deeply and thoughtfully chosen and creatively named.
