Melissa Italian Atelier was born in 2021 during the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in support of all those manufacturers, from small artisans to large companies, with the aim of giving a second life and a further chance to industrial waste. With more than 35 years of experience in the tailoring sector, and thanks to the collaboration of a mother and her children, an eco-sustainable brand based on the reuse of industrial fabric residues was born. Because of the accumulated experience in the awning industry, the first products were made mainly using fabrics from it. However, the brand focuses on the reuse of high-quality materials in general, coming from various industries. With this approach, we help to reduce the disposal of processing waste. The raw materials used derive from the impossibility of the original manufacturer to obtain a finished product due to cuttings, dimensions and lack of utility. Our products are hand-sewn by highly skilled seamstresses. Quality, care and passion embrace them in their uniqueness. There is no product similar to the other, there is a synergy of similar models resulting from different raw materials, given the heterogeneity of our suppliers and their availability. We want to include simplicity, creativity, eco-sustainability in our products, but above all the love of a mother for her family and her work. Here is where Melissa Italian Atelier is born, the Atelier of the second chance. Are you a manufacturer and don't know how to dispose of your clippings? Do you have quality waste fabrics cluttering up your warehouse? Contact us! We will give rise to our creativity.
