Melissa's was started in 2013 by two Friends (Saudi & Bahraini). , with emphasis placed on good old family values such as wholesomeness, trust, honesty integrity & our long experience background as we started with the food business in the beginning of the 80's in Saudi Arabia as seafood restaurants & food traders moved to Bahrain in 2006 and to south Africa to become a group in 2009. The business quickly out grew its premises and started its own retails shops , established to service the growing South Africans ,Europeans Asians and the GCC customer base The friends' vision was to create a store that would resemble a marketplace of old, a small branch as deli (coffee shop , butchery , bakery & grill ).
