Established in 2013, Mellie's Chocolate & Co. has been serving the Downtown Crystal Lake area with hand-crafted chocolates and award-winning ice cream. Melanie Hiser (the owner) brought her love of fresh ingredients and working with people to create this nostalgic chocolate shop. Working with high quality chocolates, fresh, organic and locally sourced ingredients. Mellie's creates standard favorites and unique treats for everyone. Mellie's offers a selection of high-quality allergen friendly sweets as well. In addition to fine chocolate, Mellie's serves up award-winning Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. The Ice Cream is made in small batches out of Madison WI and is served up daily with our house-made waffle cones and chocolate dipped cake and sugar cones. We offer a selection of corporate and hostess gifts, Ice Cream cakes and catering options for everyone. And for a little nostalgic - you have to stop in to see our collection of "Penny Candy" jars.
