Lougheed (Bill). Bill was one of the first recipients of the National Tourism Medallion for leadership in hospitality education. Referred to not only as a leader in hospitality recruiting, Bill remains a highly respected educator in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at Ryerson University, where he taught and mentored thousands of professionals now working in the industry. Bill fully retired from Ryerson in 2006.In 1998, Niall Mellors joined as Vice President of Lougheed Group and assisted Bill in continuing the company's tradition of offering value oriented, family cultured, one on one service to its clients. In 2007 after leading the company for almost 35 years, Bill Lougheed handed over the reins of the company to Niall and the company became Mellors Consulting.
