Melodic Distraction is an independent internet radio station, broadcasting online six days a week from the heart of Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. Live streaming audiovisual content via Facebook Live and audio via the Melodic Distraction website. With a roster of 75 monthly shows, Melodic Distraction radio broadcasts alongside a range of musical talent; from grassroots promoters to legendary festivals, cultural institutions to up-and-coming DJs, record stores and record labels. The kaleidoscopic programme of shows has drawn in support from across the local and global music scene. Working alongside other music-focused businesses, Melodic Distraction strives to promote its neighbours with off-site broadcasting opportunities with live streaming services available through our service.Melodic Distraction also offers event-based experiences that include; club nights, workshops, conferences and networking events. These events are live streamed through the Melodic Distraction outlets, and/or those of our partners. The Melodic Distraction online magazine works to showcase Liverpool's music scene, in addition to covering international music, new and old.
