Nonprofit Organization Management - Murdoch, Western Australia, Australia
The Melville State Emergency Service is a community based organisation administered and run by a dedicated group of volunteers from around the area. We assist the Melville and East Fremantle residents in times of need. Incidents include searching for missing persons, storm damage, fallen trees, collapsed ceilings, flooding and buildings damaged by vehicle impacts. Statewide, the SES takes the lead role in countering the effects of, and managing, the reactions to floods, cyclones, storms, earthquakes and tsunami threats. We are always looking for new Volounteers to join our organisation to assist with our cause. No experience necessary, training will be provided. We conduct training on Tuesday nights in Murdoch. Formal training courses include Senior First Aid, Storm Damage, General Rescue, Chainsaw training, Land and Air Search, Team Leadership, Administration, Urban Search and Rescue, etc. are available depending on your committment and preference. Please contact our Membership team if you would like any more information on the community work that we do, and how you may be able to assist.
