MENACE is a Los Angeles based label created by Steven Mena. Established on September 17, 2013, MENACE combines dark elements meant to embody the unforgiving side of Los Angeles culture. A direct counter to the stereotype that paints Los Angeles as a sunny paradise, MENACE derives inspiration from aspects of daily life in local/global street styles and presents them in a gritty manner.At its core, MENACE operates as a small independent company. The emerging label has carved its way into the scene through the use of guerrilla tactics and its geittt D.I.Y. aesthetic. Never one to shy away from controversial issues, each collection is inspired by distinct subject matter offering an original perspective on different topics. MENACE has established itself as a brand known for it's quality and authenticity and it continues to drag the line where street and style meet to wherever it sees fit.
