Menganyam Pesisir (Coastal Weaving) is a social enterprise that empowering marginal/remote women in coastal areas in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province-Indonesia, it does this by increasing the capacity of human resources by providing "skills training, mentoring and entrepreneurship". Through the utilization of abundant natural resources in the form of sea pandanus leaves (daun pandan laut) and indigofera leaves (natural color) in coastal areas to become fashionable and eco-friendly fashion products based on local wisdom with economic selling value. Menganyam Pesisir has two philosophical meanings as "collaboration and cooperation", where we know that weaving requires several materials to be woven together.
